IAHSA-China, the official chapter of IAHSA in China, is a professional membership organization of housing, healthcare and community ageing services providers.
The mission of IAHSA-China is to promote quality China ageing, frail elderly and disability services, information and technology transfer, as well as professional interaction and exchange.
Our members include operators, practitioners, facilities and community-based organizations serving China's ageing, frail elderly or disabled population, gerontology professionals, governmental officials, funding agents, researchers and concerned individuals.

MARK SPITALNIK is the Founder, President and CEO of China Senior Care, Inc. (“CSC”), which is focused on bringing international quality senior care to China. CSC will provide the best international quality care and services to residents at its initial facility in Hangzhou, China, scheduled to begin operations soon.
An expert on Chinese healthcare laws and the Chinese healthcare system, Mr. Spitalnik’s past roles include Special Counsel for the Beijing office of Garvey Schubert Barer, a U.S. law firm, General Counsel for Capitis China, an international healthcare services company based in Beijing, and Partner at The ChinaCare Group, a western healthcare consulting firm based in Beijing.
Mr. Spitalnik received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and his J.D from the National Law Center at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Mr. Spitalnik has lived in the People's Republic of China since 1998 and speaks Mandarin Chinese.
TOM HILL is the Asia/Pacific Managing Director of Direct Supply, Inc, the leading provider of equipment, eCommerce and Service Solutions to Senior Living. Through its offices in Shenzhen, China, Hong Kong and USA, Direct Supply provides international quality equipment and supplies to the emerging Senior Care market in China.
Previously, Mr. Hill served as Director of Information Services for DSSI, the first and industry-leading web based purchasing system in Senior Living. DSSI offers a customized procurement and reporting solution that links large care providers to their supply chain networks, streamlining the purchasing process to increase compliance and reduce costs.
Mr. Hill received his B.S. in Computer Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Mr. Hill has lived in the People’s Republic of China since 2008 and speaks Mandarin Chinese.
